# Health Check Providers

> POST /v1/providers/health-check — run one synthetic provider-health pass

Runs one synthetic provider-health pass against active provider-registry entries.

This route requires the static operator key.

## Request

AXON sends `HEAD` requests, records the result, and bumps `risk_level` after 3 consecutive failing checks for the same provider.

## Error codes

| Code | Meaning |
| :- | :- |
| `REJECTED_POLICY` | Caller is not using the static operator key |
